About Denise
My Story
Just a girl in her mid-twenties; I grew up in Australia, live in the Netherlands, love to travel, spend time with my family and friends, and I love to write.
After writing short stories and fan fiction for years (starting at the age of 14), I finally decided to write my first actual publishable book ‘Timeless Hearts’ in 2020. It has always been a dream of mine to publish a book, and this would be my chance.Â
After finally completing my book in 2025, I decided to publish it. That is where my journey begins, but it for sure won’t end there!
Personal Life
Denise was born in Muscat, Oman, she then moved to Perth, Australia at the age of 2 and remained living there until she turned 11. As her family is Dutch, her parents were ready to move back to the Netherlands, which meant Denise also moved to the other side of the world with them and her sister.Â
Adjustment in the Netherlands was quick, she attended an International Baccalaureate (IB) school and went on to study the International Bachelor of Communication and Media (IBCOM) in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. After two years here and a half year in Cardiff (exchange), she went back to Rotterdam for COVID to strike. In this time she wrote the beginning of what is to be ‘Timeless Hearts’ and moved again.
